Candidate applications are open for the 2026 CCSNA leadership election cycle.
CCSNA is inviting eligible members to consider serving in elected leadership. This year, the Society is using a standardized Candidate Profile and clearer leadership reference materials so members can understand the opportunities available and the Nominating Committee can review submissions consistently.
You are considering more than a position. You are considering a place in an 800+ year story. The next chapter of the Society will be written by people willing to bring skill, judgment, passion, and energy to the work of preserving history, building friendships, welcoming families, and helping others discover their Campbell heritage.

What to Expect
- Expression of interest: the completed Candidate Profile lets the Nominating Committee know you are willing to be considered.
- Committee review: the Committee reviews openings, candidate qualifications, and fit with Society needs.
- Follow-up conversation: a brief conversation may be part of the process so both sides can ask questions.
- Council review: the Committee anticipates presenting recommended nominees to the Executive Council at the September 11 Annual General Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Member election: candidates approved through that process proceed to the membership election using the Society's electronic voting system as soon as reasonably practical following the AGM.
A Few Things to Know
- The Society is not looking for one perfect candidate. Strong leadership comes from complementary skills, sound judgment, willingness to learn, and collaboration.
- Elective positions are volunteer service roles with three-year terms under the current Bylaws.
- A Candidate Profile expresses interest; it does not itself constitute an official nomination or guarantee placement on the final ballot.
- Candidates must meet the membership and age eligibility requirements in Section 504 of the CCSNA Bylaws.
Interested in Serving?
Whether you have served CCSNA for many years or are interested in contributing your experience in a new way, we encourage qualified members who are willing to serve to consider applying.
Thank you for your continued support of the Clan Campbell Society and for helping develop the next generation of Society leadership.
