Adam W Campbell

Adam’s clan-focused work is inspired by his great-uncle, David R. Campbell, a Past President of the Clan Campbell Society of North America. David’s leadership and example played a formative role in shaping Adam’s passion for family legacy, cultural heritage, and community connection. Building on that influence, Adam has authored and contributed to multiple articles focused on revitalizing local clan communities, emphasizing structured leadership, succession planning, active engagement, and effective communication. He has also served as a guest speaker and panelist at events produced by the American Scottish Foundation and other Scottish-affiliated organizations. Adam’s goal is to bring people of all ages together through unique engagements anchored within the Campbell history while creating compelling generational stories.

Adam maintains deep connections with his extended family in the Rocky Mountain region and has a long record of civic and community involvement. He is actively engaged in Scouting America with two of his children and serves as an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Earlier in life, he served a two-year mission in Torreón, Mexico, and later contributed to local civic efforts through volunteer service on the Taylorsville City budget committee

Adam also served for eight years on the Alumni Board of the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, where he focused on strengthening alumni engagement, mentoring students, and supporting business education initiatives.

Professionally, Adam is a seasoned leader in accounting, operations, and business strategy, with experience working alongside private equity firms and family offices in senior leadership and advisory roles. He is a skilled technologist that holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Utah Valley State College, and completed executive coursework in Business Analytics at Harvard Business School. He is an active Certified Public Accountant and currently serves as a Managing Partner with an investment firm based in Utah.

Adam grew up in South Jordan, Utah, and married his high school sweetheart, Kellie, after several years of courtship. They continue to live in South Jordan with their five children, two dogs, and a farm full of animals. When he is not with his family, working or with the Society, he enjoys racing cars, rock climbing, and helping other entrepreneurs build business and non-profit organizations across the country.
