Married:  (1) 24 Jul 1592 Lady Agnes Douglas (d. 3 May 1607), 5th dau. of William Douglas, 6th Earl of Morton, by his wife Lady Agnes Leslie, 1st dau. by his 1st wife of George Leslie, 4th Earl of Rothes

Children:  by first wife

1. Hon Archibald Campbell, later 8th Earl of Argyll later 1st Marquess of Argyll
1. Lady Anne Campbell (b. 1594; d. 14 Jun 1638), Married:  1607 George Gordon, 2nd Marquess of Huntly, and had issue
2. Lady Annabella Campbell (d. aft. 16 Jul 1652), Married:  27 May 1611 Robert Kerr, 2nd Earl of Lothian, and had issue
3. Lady Jean Campbell (bur. 26 Feb 1674/5), Married:  (1) c. 1626 John Gordon, 1st Viscount of Kenmure, and (2) 21 Sep 1640 Hon Sir Henry Montgomerie of Giffen (b. 26 Jul 1614; dsp. 3 May 1644), 2nd son by his first wife of Alexander Seton later Montgomerie, 6th Earl of Eglinton, and had issue by her first husband
4. Lady Mary Campbell, Married:  after 23 Aug 1617 Sir Robert Montgomery of Skelmorly (d. bef. 22 May 1654), and had issue
5. Lady Elizabeth Campbell

Married:  (2) 30 Nov 1610 Anne Cornwallis (d. 12 Jan 1634/5), 4th dau. and cohrss. of Sir William Cornwallis, of Brome, co. Suffolk, by his first wife Hon Lucy Neville, 3rd dau. and cohrss. of John Neville, 4th Baron Latymer

9. Lady Barbara Campbell, a nun (d. after 7 Jan 1687/8)
