Are you a Campbell? Unlock your story
Join the official Campbell DNA Project and connect your personal lineage to the legacy of one of Scotland's most powerful clans.
The paper trail of your Campbell ancestry might hit a "brick wall," especially in the 17th and 18th centuries in the American colonies or during mass emigrations from Scotland to Ireland, the Carribean, Canada and Australia. Y-DNA testing offers a new path forward by linking you with other Campbells who share a common ancestor, whether from the Scottish Highlands, Ireland, or beyond.
Testimonials:
“After 20 years, I finally smashed through my brick wall and found my connection to a Campbell line in Virginia.”
"The DNA project confirmed my family's oral history and connected me to cousins in Scotland I never knew I had."
For additional details on the project visit the Campbell DNA Project at Family Tree DNA.
Ready to begin? You can join the Campbell DNA Project by submitting a Y-DNA test to Family Tree DNA. For more information see Testing Info
