Calendar of Highland Games and Scottish Events in North America
This Calendar of Highland Games and Events is based on information supplied by various
sources; and lists Highland Games, faires, festivals, Burns Suppers,
and other Scottish and Celtic events. Where we are certain there will
be representation by the Clan Campbell Society (NA), you will see "Clan Campbell"
followed by a contact name and their information. Since Highland Games are
primarily held outdoors, and are subject to the elements as well as
changes from year to year, please contact the Event "Organizer" directly; or check with their web site to verify the event's time, date and location, before making any travel plans.
Updates and submissions for the Calendar are welcome at any time. However, in order to
meet the print deadlines for inclusion in the Journal of The Clan Campbell Society (North America)
Games Calendar, please send additions or corrections to the Calendar Coordinator - in writing, or
preferably via email - by the first of February, May, August, and
November.

Remember that things happen: rain, floods, hurricanes, black knights that let none pass, tornados, lighting storms, date and location changes,
castles falling over and sinking into the swamp, and other stuff we haven't thought of yet that may stop an event from going on
when and/or where they initially told us - but in the excitement, forgot to correct.
It's not our fault so don't blame us.
Chances are we're more disappointed than you are, (but not as disappointed as the Event Organizers and volunteers who work long and hard
with little or no recognition.)
The Clan Campbell Society (NA) reserves the right to refuse any submission for posting to the Games Calendar. (You'd be surprised at what we get.)
We post just about every event we hear about that's verifiable, and try hard to support the Scottish Community with this Games Calendar.
Be a good lad or lassie and send us all the information you can about your event so we can help you get the word out.
If you're not sure how much information to send, look at the other listings on the Games Calendar and see what everyone else sent.
It's hard to go wrong that way.
No one gets any better treatment than any one else.
No one pays to be listed on the Clan Campbell Society (NA) Games Calendar, but if you really want to send us money, we'll take it and thank you most kindly;
but it won't get you any better treatment.

Personally... I'd rather go to one of the Games listed here.
So you better read this fast, before the volunteer lawyer for the Society (who's really a good guy... no...
REALLY he is... honest...) "suggests" that we remove this for something more "legal-like."
