While I have not yet explored all of the imformation contained on this website, I think it is fascinating. I have always known that I had ancestors in Scotland but I have only recently become interseted in my family's history and I had no idea that I was part of such a large family. My sister is getting married to a MacPherson in July. The groom, the best man (groom's brother) the minister (groom's father) will be wearing kilts for the ceremony. My Campbell ancestor was Margaret Campbell, b. 1769 in County Down, Ireland. She married Robert Mack, Sr., also from Co. Down, and they emigrated to the US in the early 1800s. Really pleased to find this page. My brother and I are compiling a book which we have almost finished to date on our Campbell family history.
