I've become very interested in your society and Scottish things in general through a good friend of mine. I've discovered that even though my ancestors are from Great Britain, some from Scotland, they had no clan affiliations. However, I'm learning that there may be connection to the Campbells. Thank you for letting me enjoy your web page.

I am related on my Mother's side to Campbells from the Will's Creek area near Elkview, West Virginia. Campbell's Creek, West Virginia (near Charleston) was named for one of my ancestors. Any information would be appreciated. Also, how may I find out if I am entitled to wear the Campbell tartan and which one.

Each successive generation has moved to new territory (Montana, Nebraska, California, Texas). I'm looking for information on my Irish ancestors and (perhaps) a link to Scotland.

I am involved since more than 10 years in maritime archaeology. We are trying to gather any information about the wreck of an iron screw steamer named Clan Campbell which sank on her maiden voyage in the south of Mauritius. Actually this ship went on the reef in 1882 and imported accidently the first cargo of Whisky to our Island. Please if anyone of your society can help me with informations about this ship send me an e-mail or a fax (230-6765785). Many Thanks and regards.

I love this site! I'm going to join the society as soon as I can. I've begun researching my family tree, but can only get back 3 generations so far. If any one knows anythig about Elgin Campbell, father of Ollie Virgil Campbell (B. 01/04/1905-D.02/03/1972), I'd appreciate a letter.

I was browsing your website, for I am interested in Scottish history and particularly in my own ancestry. I understand Downey to be a lowlander, but my mother was a highlander of the clan Macquarrie. Having a common background in Presbyterian Church and also possessing theological degrees in Reformation history, I'm always looking for those who still hold to the Reformed faith. Thank you for allowing me to visit your website.

I just found this site and what a treasure! There isn't enough hours in a day to do all you want to do with the computer searching with the genealogy and all. This site is absolutly the greatest. I'm doing the Campbell line and I have alot of information but of course never have enough.
My Great Grandfather is Kenneth Ronald Campbell born 1886, From Providence, Utah. I go back to Benoni Campbell and need alot more info if any one is connected to this line would love to hear from you.
