I came across this site while I was looking for Inverary Castle. I never would have known of the presence of the Campbells on the web was so large. I have a wonderful little book of my family history called The Family Tree of William Campbell and Jane Scott 1791 - 1969
It is a wonderful bit of history and includes so notable Campbells like my mothers aunt Catherine Campbell was a designated missionary to India, Miss Mary Campbell, Thomas McCrae, John McCrae (the immortal author of In Flanders Fields), and Andrew Edward McKeever (credited with being the greatest two seater pilot in flying history) My history makes me really proud to inherit the Campbell genes. I would really like to contact any of my relatives from Scotland or anywhere, please contact me! Thank You P.S. I love your website

Hello Campbell's !
My name is Sharon and my brother Robert William Sinclair have begun to search our family tree, we have come across the name "SARAH JANE CAMPBELL" born: 1868- 1929. She was married to Patrick Henry Brazill born: 1856-1912. They had one son William Henry Brazill born: 1899-1973.

Our family roots date from the Soldier-farmer settlement of Alberta after the Napoleonic Wars. An offshoot went via Geelong, Victoria, Australia, to Aukland, New Zealand prior the American War of Independence - thence to Figi to grow cotton and hence to Sydney and ultimately Perth, Western Australia. I grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, and have retired in Geelong, Victoria. I am most gateful for your Web-Site and have passed in on to my children . . .

I have the history of my family going back to the Robert Campbell who landed from Scotland with his six sons in VA. I have the names of the sons, but no name for Robert's wife and the boys mother. Would like to work with someone who can help me fill in the gaps. My dad, Guy A. Campbell moved from Sagamon Co. IL to Sharon, TN in 1912, along with his dad, George Bunn Campbell. George was the son of Robert Campbell who moved from Cabarras Co. NC to Sasgamon Co. Il., and was appointed as magistrate by Abraham Lincoln, who was his personal friend. Roberts dad was Maxwell Campbell who left VA and came to Cabarras Co. NC. Perhaps with this information someone can give some assistance and help me tie the loose ends together.
